Overview
We are seeking a Data Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a newly acquired data aggregation platform for a global commodity trading client. The contractor will collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, and AI consultants to ensure successful delivery of complex technology programs. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of data projects;
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and define project requirements;
- Oversee project governance, including planning and financial management;
- Implement RAID change control processes to manage risks and issues;
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and project stakeholders;
- Ensure alignment with data strategies and business objectives;
- Monitor project progress and adapt plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing data platforms and technology programs;
- Strong understanding of data concepts and their implications for delivery;
- Skills in governance, financial management, and stakeholder engagement;
- Experience with RAID change control methodologies;
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams;
- Familiarity with commodities trading is a plus but not essential;
- Contract management experience preferred.
