Overview
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer for an initial 6-month contract role. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid setting, contributing to the development of high-performance lithium-ion battery systems for electric aviation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of lithium-ion battery systems for electric aviation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project execution.
- Manage engineering work packages and technical interfaces proactively.
- Utilize CATIA and/or 3DEXPERIENCE for design tasks.
- Provide technical leadership within the engineering team.
- Contribute to safety-critical systems engineering efforts.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise in lithium-ion battery systems, preferably in automotive or aerospace.
- Excellent knowledge of systems engineering principles.
- Proven ability to manage engineering work packages effectively.
- Significant experience with CATIA and/or 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Technical leadership experience in engineering projects.
- Expertise in composite design, liquid cooling systems, or thermal runaway protection.
