Document Controller

Overview

As a Document Controller, you will report to the Project Control Manager and play a vital role in the ENI Liverpool Bay Project, focusing on decommissioning and carbon capture and storage initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and manage document management processes in line with company procedures, facilitating the timely exchange of technical documentation and supporting project organization and logistics. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring the effective handling of documentation from inception to completion while promoting best practices in document management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely transmission of technical documents between clients and the company, including reports and engineering drawings.
  • Assist in project organization and logistics, supporting the Project Manager with risk and opportunity management.
  • Establish and maintain document management processes, including workflows and compliance with methodologies.
  • Control and monitor the documentation lifecycle, ensuring client approvals and formal correctness of submissions.
  • Oversee the final documentation handover to clients, focusing on knowledge retention.
  • Provide training and support on Document Management Tools and procedures, including help desk services.
  • Manage reporting and data activities, including organizing registers and progress reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience handling technical and engineering documentation in a construction or similar environment.
  • Basic industrial knowledge with an understanding of document purposes.
  • Familiarity with document management processes and tools.
  • Experience in project support roles, including organization and logistics functions is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to safety and sustainability standards in all work processes.
