Overview
This role involves transitioning endpoint security from SentinelOne to Microsoft Defender, while integrating with Arctic Wolf's MDR service. The contractor will collaborate with the organization's IT team to plan and execute the migration, ensuring continued security for Windows and macOS endpoints during the process. The position is hybrid, requiring both remote work and on-site presence in London.
Responsibilities
- Validate and segment the endpoint and server estate, including various managed Windows and macOS environments.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SentinelOne-to-Microsoft Defender migration plan.
- Ensure continuous endpoint protection and security monitoring throughout the migration.
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud.
- Coordinate the deployment of Arctic Wolf agents and network sensors.
- Complete Arctic Wolf onboarding activities, including API integrations and event log ingestion.
- Validate operational integration between Microsoft Defender and Arctic Wolf MDR.
- Confirm successful onboarding and monitoring before removing SentinelOne across the estate.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in migrating from SentinelOne to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Intune.
- Familiarity with Jamf and endpoint management for both Windows and macOS.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise EDR deployment and migration.
- Knowledge of Arctic Wolf MDR onboarding and integration processes is a plus.
- Understanding of Windows server security monitoring and event log ingestion.
- Ability to manage complex endpoint estates, particularly with VIP and retail/POS environments.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills related to deployment and transition management.
