Overview
We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Nutanix to join a major infrastructure transformation programme supporting a utilities organisation. The contractor will work closely with the infrastructure team, focusing on deploying, configuring, and maintaining Nutanix environments while also assisting with VMware technologies. This role allows for a blend of on-site and remote work, making it a flexible opportunity for an experienced professional.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Nutanix infrastructure across multiple operational sites.
- Support data centre setup and implementation.
- Manage and maintain Nutanix and VMware environments using Prism Central.
- Assist with network segmentation and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with Nutanix technologies.
- Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and NSX.
- Strong knowledge of Prism Central and AHV.
- Experience with data centre deployment and infrastructure implementation.
- Familiarity with network segmentation and security practices.
