Overview
Apex Core Limited is seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor with active SC or DV clearance to provide short-term commercial support for prestigious central government projects. The role involves working with the project management team two days per week, focusing on tendering, analysis, and commercial reporting. This two-month commission offers flexible working days, with potential for further engagements based on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide short-term commercial support for government projects.
- Prepare and issue tender packs and pricing schedules.
- Review and level tender returns, creating comparison reports.
- Conduct cost reporting and provide general commercial support to the project team.
Requirements
- Active SC or DV clearance, transferable and not awaiting approval.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or building services.
- Strong background in tender documentation and analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
- Experience with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts is desirable.
- Familiarity with central government or secure estate projects is a plus.
