Overview
We are seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Specialist to lead the GRC function within a rapidly growing payments technology organization. In this hybrid contract role, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CISO and various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and management of GRC frameworks, while also driving compliance initiatives and enhancing risk management processes during a critical growth phase.
Responsibilities
- Champion GRC initiatives and provide advisory support across the organization.
- Implement and manage ISO 27001 environments and frameworks.
- Drive the SOC 2 Type II compliance program.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure ongoing assurance.
- Oversee third-party risk management processes.
- Enhance and maintain the GRC program and associated tooling.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a GRC Specialist, particularly in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 frameworks and governance principles.
- Experience in managing SOC 2 Type II compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct internal audits and manage risk assessments.
- Familiarity with third-party risk management best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
