Overview
The Interim Trust Operations Consultant will provide senior leadership support across various strategic operational projects until August 2027, working in a hybrid arrangement that includes regular travel across sites and occasional home working. This role focuses on overseeing the delivery of key transformation initiatives, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that strategic objectives are achieved within a growing group of schools.
Responsibilities
- Lead major ICT, estates, and operational transformation projects.
- Drive digital transformation, cyber security initiatives, and business continuity planning.
- Support organisation-wide strategic decision-making as part of the senior leadership team.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide oversight of estates, health & safety, and ICT functions.
- Lead the implementation of digital and cyber security programmes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and line management to senior operational leaders.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading estates, ICT, operations, or transformation functions.
- Proven programme and project management expertise.
- Experience operating at a senior leadership level within a complex, multi-site organisation.
- A track record of delivering organisational change and transformation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
- Experience in education, public sector, not-for-profit, or similarly regulated environments is required.
