Overview
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer for a 6-month contract to guide our team in implementing modern Lakehouse platforms using Databricks. In this role, you'll leverage your extensive Databricks expertise to advise clients at all engagement levels, collaborating with engineering teams and senior stakeholders alike. This position requires hands-on experience and a strong understanding of scalable data architecture.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Senior Databricks expert on engagements.
- Lead the design and delivery of modern Lakehouse platforms.
- Advise clients through various levels of engagement.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on expertise in Databricks.
- Experience with Lakebase and Unity Catalog.
- Strong background in designing scalable data pipelines.
- Experience implementing Delta Sharing.
- Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture.
- Databricks certifications preferred.
