Overview
The Oracle Payroll Consultant will provide expert functional guidance for a local authority's Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll programme. This role involves reviewing solution designs and system changes to ensure compliance with payroll, business, and legislative requirements. The consultant will collaborate with technical and configuration specialists to ensure seamless integration and functionality within the local government payroll framework.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert functional input on Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll programme.
- Review solution designs and proposed system changes for compliance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure payroll requirements are met.
- Challenge configurations where necessary to ensure system viability.
- Maintain a strong focus on legislative and local government payroll compliance.
Requirements
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Payroll.
- In-depth understanding of Oracle Absence Management and associated schemes.
- Solid knowledge of PAE and APP calculations related to payroll.
- Experience with LGPS and Teachers’ Pension calculations and reporting.
- Significant payroll experience within a local authority context.
- Familiarity with Oracle Time and Labour and payroll integration.
- Experience working with Oracle technical and configuration teams.
