Overview
The OT Security Engineer will be responsible for securing the operational technology infrastructure, specifically focusing on Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments. This role involves conducting risk assessments, managing security controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. Occasional site visits will be required as part of this remote position.
Responsibilities
- Secure the operational technology infrastructure, including ICS and SCADA environments.
- Conduct OT risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Implement and manage OT security controls and monitor network traffic.
- Respond to and manage security incidents effectively.
- Develop OT security policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver security controls.
- Run OT security training and awareness programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in IT/OT Security with at least 3 years focused on OT security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
- Proven experience in OT risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security incident response.
- Good understanding of OT security standards and regulations, particularly IEC 62443.
- Ability to communicate security risks clearly and collaborate with technical and operational teams.
