Overview
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a prominent cloud transformation initiative within a high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will architect, automate, and support the migration of on-premise infrastructure to a modern cloud environment, collaborating closely with development and platform teams to ensure security, performance, and sustainability of the new system.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure design and deployment using Terraform (IaC).
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters to support containerised workloads.
- Support the migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native delivery.
- Create automation scripts and tools — ideally using Python.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and scaling strategies to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless migration and minimal disruption.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud migrations or large-scale infrastructure modernisation projects.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure observability.
- Scripting experience in Python.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, delivery-focused mindset.
