Overview
We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join a dynamic ecommerce business, focusing on building and maintaining data pipelines while developing dashboards and reports across various departments. This role will involve utilizing the newly implemented GCP stack, including BigQuery and Looker, and collaborating closely with the data engineering team to enhance data accessibility and insights.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to support business analytics.
- Develop and create dashboards and reports using Looker and BigQuery.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to implement best practices in data processing.
- Analyze data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity across reports.
- Work within the GCP environment to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience using BigQuery for data processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with Looker for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
