Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to contribute to the improvement of OEM customer business systems through the development of Power BI dashboards. This 12-month contract role will involve collaboration with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and create effective data visualizations. The role offers a flexible working pattern, including hybrid options, while requiring enhanced background checks due to MOD regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Create data models and establish connections to various data sources.
- Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability and performance.
- Implement data security and access controls within Power BI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Good experience with creating Azure DevOps environments and reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate is preferred.
- Enhanced BPSS background checks required, and candidates must be UK sole nationality.
