Overview
We are seeking a Power BI Developer to enhance OEM customer business systems through the creation and development of Power BI dashboards. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to assess data requirements and translates them into effective technical solutions. The position is a 12-month, full-time contract, with a hybrid working arrangement allowing for 1-2 days of remote work per week, based in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Create data models and establish connections to various data sources.
- Optimize Power BI dashboards for usability and performance.
- Implement data security and access controls within Power BI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with SQL and data modelling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar certification is desirable.
