Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will support a leading Investment Management client on a long-term contract focused on the analysis and delivery of key metrics within their operations. Collaborating closely with data engineers, platform teams, and other stakeholders, the role involves defining metrics, resolving discrepancies, documenting processes, and translating these measures into published reporting products. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate data management and reporting within the investment management framework.
Responsibilities
- Draft precise definitions for the measure set in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Resolve competing figures to establish a single agreed baseline for each measure.
- Document measures to ensure consistent calculation and establish known limitations.
- Define the reporting hierarchy in alignment with business descriptions and validate the structure.
- Translate agreed measures into a published reporting product, coordinating with data engineers.
- Facilitate the rollout of metric capture across engineering teams for comprehensive coverage.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in investment management.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience with metric definition work.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
