Overview
This role is for a Data Engineer focused on utilizing the GCP stack to support a growing ecommerce business. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, as well as creating insightful dashboards and reports while collaborating closely with a team of data engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines in GCP.
- Create dashboards and reports using Looker.
- Collaborate with the wider data engineering team.
- Optimize data processes and workflows.
- Implement data models and ETL processes using BigQuery.
- Support data-driven decision making across the business.
Requirements
- Proficient in SQL and experience with BigQuery.
- Familiarity with GCP services and architecture.
- Experience with LookML for data visualization.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to data processing.
- Previous experience in an ecommerce environment is a plus.
