Overview
The Data Quality Manager will play a crucial role in a contract position at a mid-tier bank focused on enhancing data excellence within their Data Process team. Collaborating with stakeholders across the business, this role centers on defining and implementing data quality rules for an automated monitoring system driven by AI technology, ensuring accurate identification and management of data quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement data quality rules for automated monitoring systems.
- Identify and analyze data quality issues in process flows.
- Collaborate with teams on Data Governance initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on data quality objectives.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and performance.
- Advise on best practices in data quality and governance.
Requirements
- Experience working within a UK banking environment.
- Strong understanding of UK banking data and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in data governance and data management.
- Broad knowledge of data requirements for regulatory reporting.
- Experience with Cloud Data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with data quality best practices and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
