Overview
We are seeking a Senior SRE / Platform Engineer to join a dynamic team on a contract basis, focusing on enhancing and supporting modern software platforms with a specific emphasis on AI technologies. The successful contractor will work closely with various teams, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security while leveraging automation and CI/CD practices. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a robust background in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, particularly within AI-enabled environments.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain production platforms and services in a BAU/SRE environment.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment orchestration.
- Implement infrastructure and automation using Terraform.
- Work with APIs and API gateways, including technologies such as Kong.
- Support and administer AI platforms, including OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Implement observability and monitoring using tools such as Datadog.
- Manage infrastructure capacity and optimize cloud/platform costs.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Architecture teams.
Requirements
- Strong background in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
- Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment orchestration.
- Familiarity with API configuration and API gateways.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation.
- Experience with observability tooling, ideally Datadog.
- Understanding of software engineering and deployment principles.
- Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI or Anthropic is highly advantageous.
