Overview
We are looking for a skilled Network Systems Engineer to join a leading engineering team for a critical six-month programme. In this role, you will engage in hands-on configuration and support of lab infrastructure, collaborating closely with the Lead Systems Engineer and other technical teams to ensure high standards in network architecture and delivery. A security clearance (DV Clearance) is necessary due to the sensitive nature of the work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain network architecture for the lab environment.
- Configure systems according to specifications from the Lead Systems Engineer.
- Support activities at trials sites as required.
- Ensure compliance with UK MOD 'secure by design' principles.
Requirements
- Hold a high level of UK Security Clearance (DV Clearance).
- Demonstrate understanding of Time Sensitive Networking.
- Possess CISO experience or relevant qualifications.
- Have knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection Model.
- Understand IPv4 addressing and Virtual Local Area Network configuration.
- Be familiar with network implementation and deployment processes.
- Understand fundamental network architecture principles.
- Knowledge of NetConf and network security is desirable.
