Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Azure and Python to join our team. In this remote position, the contractor will develop, support, and scale our B2B Energy platform while ensuring the reliability and security of cloud-hosted products. The role involves responding to support requests, troubleshooting backend issues, and enhancing our cloud offerings through effective Dev Experience tools and improved security measures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the B2B Energy platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Python backend issues efficiently.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for better operational efficiency.
- Design and improve disaster recovery infrastructure patterns.
- Contribute to cloud security, resilience, and scalability measures.
- Create reusable cloud modules and Dev Experience tools to improve developer processes.
- Ensure compliance with networking and security best practices in the cloud environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial experience in IT Engineering/Development.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in Python development and backend debugging.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery patterns and cloud security protocols.
- Familiarity with networking modernization in cloud environments.
- Ability to improve developer experience through operational tools.
- Understanding of Azure Control Tower and the management of cloud accounts.
