Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Azure AI Engineer to take charge of the development and delivery of AI-powered solutions within a globally recognized consulting organization. This role focuses on designing scalable AI architectures utilizing Azure services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement production-ready applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, support integration efforts, and drive best practices in AI governance and model management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of AI-powered solutions and intelligent automation capabilities.
- Design and implement scalable AI architectures using Azure services.
- Drive the adoption of best practices across prompt engineering, AI governance, and model lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy production-ready AI applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and stakeholders.
- Support the integration of AI services with existing business platforms and applications.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Azure OpenAI Service or equivalent AI platforms.
- Expertise in embeddings, vector and hybrid search, orchestration frameworks, and AI agents.
- Experience designing, managing, and versioning prompts for enterprise AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AI Search.
- Experience using Azure Synapse for data ingestion and preparation.
- Experience working with Azure Blob Storage.
- Development experience with Azure Functions and Power Platform custom connectors.
