Overview
We are seeking a senior contract .NET developer to join our team for an initial 3-month engagement, with the opportunity to work 100% remotely. The successful contractor will collaborate closely with other developers and project stakeholders to build and maintain backend systems using the latest .NET technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend applications using .NET and C#.
- Implement ASP.NET Core features including Razor Pages.
- Manage database interactions with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through Clean Architecture and CQRS principles.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaboration.
- Work with Azure services, specifically Azure SQL Database and Azure App Service/Functions.
- Provide frontend support with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various jQuery plugins as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in backend development with .NET and C#.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core and related technologies.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Understanding of Clean Architecture and CQRS methodologies.
- Proficient in using Git for version control.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services is preferred.
