Overview
The Azure Developer will be responsible for working remotely as part of a large-scale Cloud Transformation programme, focusing on the re-platforming and modernization of legacy API and integration platforms through Azure. This hands-on role will involve developing powerful REST APIs, collaborating with an architecture team to produce modern implementations, and ensuring security and performance across solutions, all while integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop performant, public-facing REST APIs and system integrations in Azure.
- Document APIs to OpenAPI 3.x standards.
- Review legacy implementations and build modern replacements in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Write and maintain automated test cases using Reqnroll, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, design workshops, and story elaboration.
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance across all solutions.
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on C# and .NET Core experience across multiple projects.
- Azure development experience, including Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDB, and Azure SQL.
- RESTful API development and OpenAPI 3.x/Swagger documentation proficiency.
- Proven automated testing experience using XUnit and Specflow or Reqnroll.
- Experience with Auth0 or equivalent authentication and authorization solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Nice to have familiarity with AWS, Elasticsearch, and Azure certifications.
