AI Solutions Engineer

Overview

The AI Solutions Engineer will work within a technology consultancy that specializes in delivering AI and digital transformation projects for enterprise and public sector clients. This contract position focuses on developing and deploying innovative AI solutions with an emphasis on Microsoft Copilot Studio and related technologies. The role offers an immediate start, predominantly remote work, and the potential for long-term engagement on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Copilot Studio agents, including conversational and multi-agent solutions.
  • Evaluate client requirements and determine the appropriate technical approach across various platforms.
  • Prototype and validate AI solutions and emerging technologies prior to full implementation.
  • Support client discovery and solution-design sessions, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Build and enhance solutions leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
  • Develop integrations utilizing Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and Azure services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and simpler automation solutions.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including agent development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI services, focusing on generative AI capabilities.
  • Understanding of various AI approaches including conversational agents and autonomous workflows.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID, app registrations, permissions, and authentication practices.
  • Solid software development knowledge, including Git, CI/CD, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
