Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join a fast-growing product company on a remote B2B contract basis. The role involves working with a collaborative team to build and maintain core product features, ensuring high standards of code quality and performance as the platform evolves.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core product features in Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to iteratively deliver updates.
- Write clean, well-tested code using RSpec.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical decision-making processes.
- Improve performance, scalability, and architecture of the platform as it grows.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and API design.
- Experience with background job processing tools such as Sidekiq.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in the UK and able to contract via a limited company (B2B, outside IR35).
