Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and developing a cutting-edge B2B SaaS platform, focusing on advanced backend engineering using C# and .NET. Your responsibilities will include designing high-performance, distributed systems and leveraging AWS serverless technologies to enhance delivery. You will also utilize AI tools to boost development efficiency, working closely with engineering leadership to drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop complex, high-performance distributed services using C#/.NET on AWS Lambda.
- Design and implement resilient event-driven systems utilizing SQS and related AWS messaging services.
- Take ownership of features from inception to delivery, including product thinking and scoping.
- Create and maintain clean, well-documented, and versioned APIs for optimal developer experience.
- Promote and uphold engineering best practices across the team, including testing and peer review.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in backend engineering with C# and .NET 9/10.
- Proficient in AWS serverless architecture, including Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS.
- Strong understanding of data management with Aurora MySQL and DynamoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
- Ability to design and implement event-driven systems, ensuring operational resilience and idempotency.
- Experience in API design, focusing on versioning, documentation, and throttling practices.
