Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join an engineering team on a contract basis for an urgent project focused on application containerisation and deployment within AWS. The contractor will be involved in hands-on development with PHP and React to enhance existing applications and create a new web-based dashboard. This role is fully remote, and candidates must be able to collaborate effectively while delivering production-ready code promptly.
Responsibilities
- Containerise existing applications for AWS deployment.
- Support the configuration and integration of services within the AWS environment.
- Develop and extend a PHP-based API/backend.
- Build a modern web dashboard using React.
- Integrate the React front end with PHP APIs.
- Work across the full stack to deliver an end-to-end solution.
- Troubleshoot integration and application issues.
- Produce clean, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PHP and backend/API development.
- Strong knowledge of React for building production web applications.
- Practical experience with AWS application deployment and support.
- Expertise in Docker/containerisation.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with full-stack development practices.
- Understanding of cloud deployment processes.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
