Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect for a 3-6 month initial contract, focused on enhancing IT systems for a government agency. The contractor will analyze existing technology and design a future-proof architecture, working closely with project stakeholders to deliver effective solutions that meet both cloud standards and internal technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and gather requirements for upgrades or new solutions.
- Evaluate existing technology stacks and recommend effective third-party solutions.
- Produce a detailed Solution Design Document.
- Ensure solutions comply with cloud standards (AWS/Azure) and internal technical requirements.
- Provide expertise in mixed method solutions including SAAS, COT, and bespoke developments.
- Facilitate system integration to ensure seamless operation and compliance with standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architectural analysis and design.
- Strong familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- In-depth understanding of existing and emerging IT systems suitable for the infrastructure.
- Proven ability to oversee integrations and ensure compliance with security standards.
