Overview
As an Azure Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in a high-profile Data Warehouse programme, designing and implementing data solutions from the ground up. You will collaborate with teams to ensure the successful deployment of dashboards and reporting tools in Azure, while managing sensitive data within a regulated setting. This fully remote position offers an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies and influence modern data architecture practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a Data Warehouse architecture from scratch.
- Develop and manage data models, ETL/ELT processes in Azure.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, and Data Factory for data solutions.
- Create dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance throughout the project.
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate high-level designs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Azure Data Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakehouse concepts.
- Strong background with Azure technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL.
- Experience in data modelling and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI and analytical reporting tools.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements for sensitive data.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
