Overview
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join a leading Financial Services organization for an initial six-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in finalizing the development of an established Corporate Governance platform, which involves transitioning it from a prototype to a fully operational application using modern technologies. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate Governance team and senior stakeholders to enhance the application and address requirements effectively.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the existing prototype and lead its development, testing, and transition into production.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Governance team to gather requirements and demonstrate functionality.
- Optimize the data model and enhance the database architecture for better performance.
- Develop a maintainable and effective front end using React and TypeScript.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to expedite project delivery.
- Conduct technical debugging and ensure robust performance through independent problem-solving.
- Contribute to the future evolution of the platform, considering AI and semantic search capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including database design and data integrity.
- Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Azure Web Apps and deploying applications into production environments.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and independent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with AI development tools, including GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
