Overview
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer to design, debug, and optimize embedded software platforms for data-driven and connected systems. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient performance of low-level software, primarily on NXP iMX8 or similar platforms. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with embedded systems and a strong programming background in C++.
Responsibilities
- Design low-level embedded software for connected systems.
- Debug and optimize existing embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software performance.
- Utilize JLink, JTag, and ICE Debugger for hardware/software debugging.
- Implement and understand communication protocols such as HTTP and MQTT.
- Work within Linux environments to support embedded applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with embedded systems.
- Strong programming skills in C++.
- Solid experience with Linux operating systems.
- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols including HTTP and MQTT.
- Proficiency in hardware/software debugging techniques and tools.
