Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive expertise in MongoDB to join a UK-based AI scale-up for an initial 6-month remote contract. In this role, you will work independently within a large engineering department, collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native, event-driven systems in a DevOps setting. Your primary focus will be on providing guidance and building solutions to address the integration challenges between Django and MongoDB.
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native, event-driven systems using MongoDB and Django.
- Provide guidance on optimizing MongoDB implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective software solutions.
- Work autonomously while contributing to a DevOps culture.
- Solve challenges related to the integration of Django and Mongo.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to enhance team knowledge.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of MongoDB, including optimization techniques.

- Experience with Django framework.
