Overview
The Applied AI Engineer will work on a cutting-edge project focused on developing intelligent AI agents that tackle complex challenges. Collaborating with a team of experts, the contractor will contribute to designing innovative solutions across various aspects of AI, including memory architectures and multimodal search systems, while working fully remote within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced AI agent memory architectures.
- Design low-latency retrieval systems for efficient data access.
- Collaborate on multimodal data ingestion and hybrid retrieval techniques.
- Create and maintain LLM evaluation frameworks and testing pipelines.
- Enhance observability tooling for improved performance monitoring.
- Utilize PostgreSQL and pgvector for data management solutions.
- Contribute to projects involving Voice AI and real-time conversational agents, as needed.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and asynchronous backend engineering.
- Demonstrated production experience in designing agent memory architectures.
- Hands-on expertise with multimodal ingestion, vector search, and reranking techniques.
- Experience building LLM evaluation frameworks and testing pipelines.
- Proficient with PostgreSQL and pgvector for database management.
- Familiarity with Voice AI, real-time conversational agents, or streaming audio systems is a plus.
