Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join a UK-based AI scale-up for an initial 6-month remote contract outside of IR35. The successful candidate will be part of a product-focused engineering organization, working within an autonomous team to design and build cloud-native, event-driven systems from inception to delivery in a collaborative DevOps environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end process from discovery to delivery and validation.
- Develop cloud-native, event-driven systems using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business goals.
- Iteratively deliver product increments, utilizing feedback for improvements.
- Prioritize and challenge product requirements based on customer value.
- Utilize DevOps practices to enhance system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product engineering with clear end-to-end ownership.
- Strong understanding of product thinking focused on customer value.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver iterative solutions, including MVPs and feedback loops.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI and Django.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js.
- Knowledge of databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and GCP environments.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing requirements.
