Senior Product Engineer

Overview

The Senior Product Engineer will work remotely for a UK-based AI scale-up on an initial 6-month contract. This role entails collaborating within an autonomous team to design and build cloud-native, event-driven systems while embracing a product-focused engineering culture. The position focuses on driving projects through end-to-end ownership, from discovery and delivery to validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native, event-driven systems from 0-1.
• Collaborate within an autonomous team in a DevOps environment.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of product features from discovery to delivery.
• Implement iterative delivery processes including MVPs and feedback loops.
• Challenge requirements and work effectively with ambiguity.
• Focus on delivering customer value through strong product thinking.

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end product ownership.
• Strong background in product thinking emphasizing customer value.
• Experience in iterative delivery and feedback processes.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, FastAPI, Django, Vue.
• Familiar with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GCP.
