Overview
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Consultant specializing in React and TypeScript to support a leading B2B payments provider during a significant platform rebuild. The ideal candidate will collaborate with an established engineering team, leveraging their expertise in modern web development practices to enhance a high-volume financial services platform. This role emphasizes hands-on contributions within a dynamic environment focused on AI-assisted software development.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the reconstruction of a high-volume B2B payments platform using modern technologies.
- Implement modern React engineering practices within the front-end development team.
- Utilize TypeScript to enhance application performance and maintainability.
- Develop modular front-end architectures and manage monorepos effectively.
- Integrate AI coding agents like Claude Code into the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain rigorous testing and engineering standards across complex production applications.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborative development processes to ensure high-quality output.
Requirements
- Deep, recent hands-on experience with React.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern web development practices.
- Proven experience in large-scale platform rebuilds and modernization.
- Familiarity with modular front-end architectures and monorepos.
- Practical experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code.
- Strong testing and engineering discipline, particularly in production environments.
- Experience within the Financial Services, Payments, or FinTech sectors is highly beneficial.
