Overview
We are seeking a Software Consultant on an initial 3-month contract to support the development, configuration, and maintenance of systems integral to our clients' insurance products and services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, underwriters, pricing teams, and analysts to transform complex insurance rules and processes into effective software solutions, while thriving in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure and develop insurance products, including rating, validation, and underwriting rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between internal and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Support testing, deployments, and ongoing platform enhancements.
- Produce technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Instanda or similar insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, EIS, or Sapiens.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development experience.
- Experience within the insurance sector, with a solid understanding of the policy lifecycle.
- Proficient in developing integrations using APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Git and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
