Overview
We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join a dynamic technology consulting team on a contract basis. In this fully remote role, the successful candidate will develop and maintain mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, focusing on seamless user experiences and robust functionality. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere and the potential for contract extension based on project workload.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers.
- Implement features supporting offline functionality and ensure data persistence.
- Manage on-device storage solutions and optimize app performance.
- Develop API contracts, data models, and application state management.
- Handle request queuing, retries, and background sync processes.
- Publish and maintain applications on app stores, managing updates and user feedback.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mobile app development using React Native.
- Hands-on experience with Expo for building and deploying applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, focusing on data models and state management.
- Experience with offline-capable mobile applications and on-device databases.
- Knowledge of implementing synchronization strategies and data consistency.
- Familiarity with data-fetching and state management tools like Redux Toolkit.
- Experience in publishing apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
