Overview
We are looking for a Senior React/Node.JS Engineer to join a dynamic fintech team on a six-month remote contract basis focused on building a greenfield application for global payments. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and optimize scalable web applications, while employing your expertise in LLMs, Typescript, and modern development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React, Node.JS, and Typescript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement payment solutions.
- Ensure code quality through best practices and rigorous testing.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage server-side development.
- Utilize Agile methodologies throughout the development process.
- Contribute to DevOps practices and tooling where applicable.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React and Node.JS frameworks.
- Proficient in Typescript and experienced with LLMs and data modeling.
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with server-side development and RESTful API integration.
- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies such as Agile.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
