Overview
The Cloud Engineer will design, build, and operate AI-powered automation solutions within a collaborative team focused on cloud engineering, enterprise data, and artificial intelligence. Working primarily with AWS services and large language models, the engineer will enhance business processes and drive better decision-making through innovative cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud-native automation solutions using agentic AI and generative AI technologies.
- Build applications with AWS Bedrock and related AWS services.
- Develop intelligent workflows and autonomous agents to automate business and operational processes.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, including Teradata.
- Build scalable Python services, APIs, and automation tools.
- Use Datadog to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve observability.
- Work with data engineering teams to provide secure access to enterprise data.
- Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, cost-effective, and aligned with cloud governance standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience, including building generative AI solutions with AWS Bedrock.
- Strong Python development skills, including APIs and automation.
- Experience working with Teradata in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring and observability.
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and DevOps practices.
- A sound understanding of cloud security, identity management, and operational best practices.
