Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in C# and .NET on the Azure platform, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the core engineering team of a leading fintech. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust cloud-native backend services while leveraging AI-assisted development tools. This is a hands-on position where you will shape the software delivery process and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure the reliability and security of financial transaction systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs in C# and .NET.
- Develop and support cloud-native applications on Azure.
- Build microservices and event-driven systems that are resilient, secure, and observable.
- Own CI/CD and release processes across Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Support production systems, including monitoring, incident response, and root-cause fixes.
- Write secure code and fix vulnerabilities as part of normal delivery.
- Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements
- Strong backend software engineering experience in C# and .NET.
- Experience in designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for work management, source control, CI/CD, and release processes.
- Knowledge of API design, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Understanding of software security, secure coding practices, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, incident management, and production support.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
