Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Software Engineer for a 7-month contract position, with a focus on supporting the New Vehicle Sales team in a major AS400 modernization program. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams to develop and maintain applications using a modern technology stack, integrating systems associated with vehicle ordering, pricing, and registration. This hybrid role involves significant teamwork and the application of Azure technologies, aiming to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to gather functional requirements and collaborate on designing new features.
- Develop and support Azure applications and integration components, adhering to agreed solution architecture.
- Collaborate across teams for feature delivery, including design, code reviews, and testing.
- Manage code and automate builds and releases using Azure DevOps or GitHub tooling.
- Develop data pipelines and ETL processes utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Python.
- Ensure the implementation of monitoring and alerting frameworks for production solutions.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for solutions implemented.
Requirements
- Strong, proven experience with Azure and cloud-native technologies.
- Expertise in .NET technologies, particularly C#.
- Full-stack development experience, covering both UI and database aspects.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 stack including SharePoint and PowerApps.
- Knowledge of SQL technologies, including SQL MI and Azure SQL.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Azure solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile Scrum environments, with a collaborative mindset.
