Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a growing financial services organization and influence its data and technology strategy. This strategic role involves assessment and design of a future-state data architecture while collaborating with senior leadership and data engineers to translate architectural vision into actionable solutions over the next 3–5 years.
Responsibilities
- Assess the existing data and technology landscape.
- Define the target-state data architecture.
- Develop the roadmap from the current environment to the future state.
- Define data architecture principles, standards, and patterns.
- Shape the organization's wider data and technology strategy.
- Assess the role of Azure and Microsoft Fabric within the future architecture.
- Design architecture across investment, operational, and enterprise data.
- Shape data integration and data platform strategy.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Data Architect or Enterprise Data Architect.
- Strong experience within financial services.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms and cloud architecture.
- Experience across Azure and Microsoft technologies.
- Experience designing target-state data architectures.
- Experience developing data strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Strong data modeling and integration knowledge.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels.
