Overview
The role of Senior Business Analyst focuses on driving innovations in the sustainable energy sector, particularly in the UK energy market. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Manager and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features.
- Analyze and document business requirements, translating them into clear specifications for development.
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, ensuring clarity and prioritization of user stories.
- Engage with stakeholders across trading, commercial, sales and operations to identify challenges and opportunities.
- Challenge low-value requirements using data and stakeholder insights to maximize business value.
- Monitor changes in the energy market and assess their impact on existing products and processes.
- Support the development team by providing clear guidance and clarifications during the development lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technological capabilities throughout the project.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in business analysis within the energy sector, particularly with trading and commercial products.
- Strong understanding of the UK energy market, renewables, and sustainability initiatives.
- Proven track record of working in Agile product environments from discovery to delivery.
