Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will support a consultancy engaged in a government program, bridging business and technical teams to facilitate the analysis, definition, and development of API services. This role entails collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage the lifecycle of API implementations, ensuring alignment with both technical specifications and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyse existing and proposed REST and SOAP APIs.
- Gather and define requirements for new API designs.
- Capture and manage functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
- Map and define business and technical processes.
- Support API versioning and lifecycle management.
- Assess technology options and provide structured analysis to support decisions.
- Build strong relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong Technical Business Analysis experience within API-led environments.
- Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and API platforms.
- Strong requirements gathering and technical analysis capability.
- Previous experience delivering within UK Government programmes.
- Experience working within an API service environment.
- Understanding of procurement lifecycles.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
