Overview
We are seeking a skilled Contract Full Stack Engineer to join a product-focused engineering team specialized in the iGaming industry. In this role, the contractor will focus on Java for backend development while also utilizing Vue.js for frontend applications, collaborating closely with engineers and stakeholders to enhance existing platforms and introduce new features in a modern, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Java applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Build responsive frontend applications using Vue.js.
- Work across the full technology stack, integrating user interfaces with backend services.
- Develop scalable, resilient, high-performing applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver new features effectively.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Work in an agile framework to deliver software iteratively.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Java.
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience working within agile teams, particularly in iGaming or online gaming environments.
