Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in delivering mobile, web, and API-based digital solutions. This remote role in the UK, with occasional client site travel in the North West, involves working closely with technical teams to define and document business requirements, ensuring that project outputs are both structured and testable. The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating business needs into actionable technical specifications and maintain effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery phases to gather and document business requirements.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable solution directions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver mobile applications, web applications, and APIs.
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and other relevant documentation.
- Support QA and UAT processes, including defect management and acceptance sign-off.
- Discuss technical topics with engineering teams and help clarify integration and data flow concerns.
- Utilize tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jira to manage project documentation and progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in a technical environment.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with mobile applications, web applications, and API delivery.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices and backlog management.
- Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Figma.
