Overview
The Supply Chain Project Manager will oversee various Supply Chain Transformation projects, ensuring their successful delivery in alignment with strategic goals. This role involves managing project timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication, while collaborating closely with Project Leads and Sponsors. The contractor will flexibly support multiple programs and adapt to changing priorities within the supply chain environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery milestones and governance for assigned projects.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans while tracking progress against baselines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including RAID logs and status reports.
- Facilitate governance routines and coordinate inputs for stage gate submissions.
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
- Support Project Leads in overcoming blockers and maintaining project momentum.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to keep projects aligned with timelines and deliverables.
- Drive compliance with stage gate processes and governance requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Project Manager in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and governance processes.
- Experience with product changes and insourcing required.
- Desirable experience in New Product Development (NPD) or innovation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proactive delivery approach.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and support strategic initiatives effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
