RAID Lead / Programme Planner

Overview

The RAID Lead and Programme Planner roles focus on managing critical aspects of a significant multi-Trust digital transformation programme within the NHS. The successful candidates will work primarily in a remote capacity while collaborating with diverse workstreams and senior stakeholders to ensure effective governance, risk management, and integrated planning. These positions are intended for experienced professionals who can bring substantial programme controls expertise to a complex transformation effort.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of programme-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Drive ownership, mitigation, escalation, and effective governance across multiple workstreams.
  • Produce comprehensive programme-level RAID reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and manage the integrated programme plan, consolidating multiple workstream plans.
  • Identify and challenge planning assumptions and schedule risks.
  • Work closely with senior programme stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Maintain awareness of project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in managing RAID across complex transformation programmes.
  • Strong risk, issue, and dependency management expertise.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage integrated programme plans.
  • Excellent understanding of programme governance and controls.
  • Experience in producing detailed programme-level reports and analytics.
  • Confidence in challenging and influencing workstream plans.
  • Background in large-scale integrated digital transformation programmes, preferably with NHS exposure.
