Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of diverse business change projects within a manufacturing environment. This role involves establishing governance, project plans, and timelines while coordinating with various stakeholders across the organization. The Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership to ensure project delivery aligns with strategic objectives and will need to be adaptable in managing both ongoing and newly initiated projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of approximately six concurrent projects.
- Establish clear governance, project plans, timelines, and accountability.
- Coordinate stakeholders across operations, manufacturing, finance, sales, and IT.
- Work with senior stakeholders and C-suite project sponsors.
- Quickly understand the status of existing projects and bring them under control.
- Challenge delays and ensure accountability for agreed actions.
- Engage in hands-on management where necessary while focusing on effective project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business change projects.
- Strong understanding of project management processes in developing organizations.
- Experience in managing technology-enabled projects is desirable.
- Capability to challenge senior stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to Gloucester and across Europe when required.
- French language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
