Overview
The Project Manager will lead multiple projects within the asset and commercial lending sector for a dynamic challenger bank. This role focuses on hands-on project delivery in a complex digital banking environment, requiring collaboration with various teams and effective stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will leverage their recent experience in UK lending environments to drive project success and support the bank's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of lending projects within a digital banking environment.
- Collaborate with software development and architecture teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive RAID management processes to identify and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present SteerCo materials to stakeholders effectively.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to facilitate project progression.
- Ensure adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within project execution.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence for project management and tracking.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering projects within UK lending environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital mobile and/or online banking delivery projects.
- Familiarity with process automation projects.
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working within structured SDLC environments, including collaboration with BA, UX/UI, architecture, and engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and management.
